JAPAN QUALITY AWARD
Chairman: Mr.Shinji Fukukawa, Chairman ,Toyo University

Objective
The Japan Quality Award was established after the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, which helped trigger the recovery of the U.S. economy during the 1980s. The program supports the management innovation of companies with a framework focused on management quality.

Specific activities
- Administering of the Japan Quality Award (Established in 1995. Thirty-five institutions have received the award to date.)

- 16member of the regional Award to promote the program.

- “Quality Class Certification” to support the improvement in management quality in healthcare institutions.
